Attorney Karyn Gimbel Youso, of the Milwaukee area law firm of Jacobson & Ratzel, has been providing counsel to clients for almost 15 years. She practices exclusively family law, predominantly divorce, with a unique emphasis on the emerging field of collaborative law.
Karyn Gimbel Youso earned her law degree from the Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, and earned her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.
As one of only approximately 150 practicing collaborative divorce attorneys in all of Wisconsin, Ms. Youso educates her clients about the many benefits that collaborative law offers. Because of her active involvement with the Collaborative Family Law Council of Wisconsin (Public Education/Marketing Chair), Attorney Youso is very familiar with many professionals from other disciplines (financial, mental health, vocational, real estate) who are a crucial part of the collaborative process. In addition to her involvement with CFLCW, Attorney Youso is a member of The International Acedemy of Collaborative Professionals and the Wisconsin Association of Women Lawyers.
Attorney Youso is married with three small children, and participates actively in her community. In addition to serving as a volunteer for the Milwaukee County Family Law Clinic, she is a singer with the Bel Canto Chorus of Milwaukee.
